Just thought this video of Anthony during his "tummy time" was cute. He really seems to be enjoying checking out his surroundings, even though it's just our messy living room, which is now overrun by no fewer than four pieces of baby furniture. And as you may be able to hear toward the end, he now makes noises other than "wail" or "scream."
Things are good here...the air conditioning is being repaired this morning (I think I hear them arriving right now!); Tropical Storm Fay was the non-issue we expected; and the Olympic swimming events are over, meaning Brandon won't have to listen to Michael Phelps's "annoying mother" for another four years. And little Anthony is doing just fine, preparing to hit double digits as a big 10-week-old this Saturday and looking forward to a visit with his Uncle Justin.

He's just too cute for words! He really looks like he wants to get moving. I think Aunt Shirley is right, he is saying hello to the world! I also agreed with Amanda's comment the other day, how fun it is to read the comments on this blog and get a glimpse of everyone's personality. From Aunt Shirley, the two sets of grandparents, Aunt Kerry, friends Amanda, Ben, Matt, Uncle Justin and Aunt Ellen, little Anthony is a very beloved little boy!

It looks like Anthony is doing the yoga pose of "upward dog"... until his face smashes into the ground - ouch! (I have to admit that on mornings when I'm a little tired I've actually bumped my nose into the floor doing yoga - ha ha!)
