Anthony James has arrived!

Well, after much ado, Anthony James Josephsen arrived on June 14, 2008. He was born at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach at 1:46 a.m., just in time for Father's Day. Weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces, Anthony enjoys long naps, milk, and swaddling wraps. He's been nothing but great and both Mom and Dad are thrilled that everyone is healthy.

Here are some videos from Anthony's first days for you to enjoy. I'll let Kelly fill them in later with captions, since she's the professional writer.

First day at home:

Goin' to the pediatrician:

You'll probably notice the overall theme here is long naps, but he's tired. Who can blame him?

At the hospital:

Putting on his new outfit to come home with. Note: He pissed himself before we made it to the car, so he actually went home in a paper gown provided by the hospital. But let's not tell him that.

Brandon: All the experienced moms are laughing right now.

Brandon: He doesn't cry.
THAT'S when the "experienced moms" (and dads) started laughing. All the babies get together and decide that they won't cry in the hospital (I think to make a good impression, before the no return policy is explained), and save it for 11p.m., 1, 3, 4, and 5 a.m. at home. Babies are so smart!
Seriously, though, you guys are adorable! We can't wait to meet Anthony! We (well, at least Amanda) misses those newborn days already!

OK Mr. Fancy-Pants-Know-It-All-Experienced Dad, he waited until 6 a.m. for his 5th crying spell of the night, so HA!

No wonder he pissed himself before you actually left the hospital; that took forever! They are pretty squirmy and floppy. What a sweetheart--we send our love and kisses for the little guy!
