Trick or Treat!

Anthony's second Halloween brought a trip to the Midwest and his first-ever trick-or-treating voyage. Although getting there certainly was NOT half the fun, being there was great, as Anthony got to see Grandma Dianne and Grandpa Harry, Grandma Char and Grandpa Dave, cousins Bradley and Matthew, and Aunt Ellen and Uncle Justin.

Even though Anthony "treated" us all to his special brand of chaos, he saved most of his "tricks" for later (hey, it wasn't MY kid who dumped out all the goldfish crackers. Just saying. Please don't mention that glass of wine...). Unfortunately, by "later" I mean that special joy that is a plane ride with a toddler. Sorry Airtran flights 563 and 59!

Anyway, it was a great weekend, and thank you to everyone who let us descend upon you! We hope we didn't do any permanent damage.

Here are some pictures:

It was so much fun seeing you both! Grandpa and I laughed all the way home, talking about Anthony's antics. Like when he brought me his shoes to put on, and tried so hard to push the sroller out of the collapsed position into upright. He really wanted to go outside! I'm glad that the weather in St. Louis was nice, instead of the cats and dogs rainfall in Bloomington! All three boys look so cute in their M & M costumes, and it looks like they had a ball playing in the leaves. It always feels good to get home, though, so have a great week!

I think he liked EATING the M&M's too!

We sure had a great time, even though we missed Uncle Brandon. We are looking forward to Christmas!

I didn't realize that Ellen had made those costumes. No wonder they looked so extra good. They were so darn cute. And it did look like they were really having a lot of fun. Good memories for Moms and Dads. Be nice if they could remember all this. But at least they got to be together again. Those visits just can't happen enough for them. Thank both of you families for sharing with the rest of us. Don't ever quit. This is the highlight of my week to get on here to see the latest antics.Love you all. Shirley
