Anthony is four months today!

Well, the little rugrat has safely navigated through one third of a year. His father had the honor of escorting him to his 4 month pediatrician visit and the numbers were definitely staggering--15 pounds 12 ounces and a mind-numbing 26 plus inches tall. The doc said everything appears to be ok and the boy, like his father, barely flinched when he was stuck with the shots.

<--Just a little 3 month-old. In other news, Anthony had another long weekend as Monday we celebrated the great Christopher Columbus and his day. He got to see his friend Harper on Saturday. While Harper is a much more mature 7 month-old, the two were happy to catch up on important matters like politics and sports. Mommy must have forgotten to take pictures, as I didn't see any on the camera. On Sunday, he got to watch the Rams' first victory of the season and then went to his mommy and daddy's friends, the Birds. Now he's looking forward to a visit from his Grandma Char and Grandpa Dave next week. Grandma's birthday is tomorrow.

Brandon, you are a great Dad. Taking your son for his 4 mo check up and shot. He is a big boy. Old Winnie is looking smaller all the time. Those are the cutest pictures yet and they are all adorable. Love the great big smiles. The shots must not have bothered him a bit. Unless you did them before the trip to the doctor. Oh, and congratulations, Brandon. on the Rams' win. I'm sure you had a much more pleasant day for that. Give that little munchkin a big hug for me. Love you all. Shirley

Nope, did the photos after the shot. I think with the fat rolls in his chubby legs he must not have even felt the needle. He had that look for a moment like he thought he should be upset about something, but then just went on with life. I agree on the pictures. He's definitely a cutie.

Dear Anthony,
Thank you for the nice birthday poster you made for me and for smiling so nicely for the picture! That picture is very special to me!
I am happy to hear that you were such a good boy at your doctor's appointment. I bet Daddy was so proud of your good behavior too!
I can't wait to see you on Monday and see what a big boy you are! We'll have lots of fun playing together and reading stories.
Tell Mommy and Daddy "Hi".
I love you very much.

Anthony could be the poster child for a HAPPY baby! You are both doing a great job as parents and it shows. Good job getting him to and from the doctor, Brandon! I love the way that Anthony looks so interested in the printed word, as he looks at his card for Grandma Char. Maybe he will become a writer like his mom? Anyway, happy birthday, Char, have a wonderful visit with the little guy, and you too Dave!

Anthony looks "angelic" in that photo - the glare on the leather chair behind him makes it look like he's got a halo around his head - hee hee!

Love, Aunt Kerry

Kerry, I was thinking the same thing! But then after last night, I definitely wouldn't compare the little guy to an angel...
