So last night this sweet, innocent little boy...
Yanissah is a little girl in his class.
So, I'm left to pick between three options. Either the teachers think my little boy looks like a Yanissah, there's some hanky panky going on at that there daycare, or, as I've long suspected due to the fact that the rate at which I refill Anthony's daycare diaper supply outpaces the rate at which I refill our home diaper supply by about 4-to-1, I am supplying diapers for the entire daycare.
I don't even want to know.

That's weird! I would hate to think that they're taking advantage of you and using up all your diapers on other kids. But I think I'm not understanding something: why would the daycare people bother putting the kids' names on the diapers anyway? Wouldn't they just want to change the used diaper and be done with it? Maybe I'm missing something...
Glad this is something I will never have to deal with! ;-)
Love, Kerry

I am laughing out loud! I'm not sure which is funnier, the blog entry or Kerry's puzzled response. I am puzzled too and am picturing all the mothers writing their kid's name on the diapers before they send them. Hey maybe that's it, Yanissah's mother also suspected her diapers were being pooled, and you will be getting a phone call from her checking to see if anyone else is wearing Y's diapers!
Though...the more I think about it, when I taught preschool and the children were supposed to bring Kleenex and glue as their school supplies, to help us out with expenses, we did just pool them all and use them as needed. That's probably what they're doing with the diapers, and there's some heavy wetting going on in that nursery!
I don't even know what to say about that one. I will wait to find out what Kelly finds out when she asks, which I am assuming she plans to do. Maybe someone accidentally grabbed the wrong diaper with a wiggly child to change and didn't want to take it back off afterwards so as not to waste it. You can't put it back. That can happen. Or maybe one time she had to borrow one from Anthony for the little girl cause she ran out and they were just paying him back with one of hers this time. Who knows. Interesting. Love you all. Shirley
Hmmm,. no one has suspected any hanky-panky by Anthony ???? No wonder he has the cute little "I just got by with something" grin!
Grandma Dianne, "Heavy wetting!" Now we know where Kelly gets it! I love this!
