Anyway, with 15 months under his belt (do they make belts for babies? I kind of hope not.) Anthony is maturing, and we've seen the proverbial "lightbulb" go on several times.
While it would be generous (very, very generous) to say Anthony is walking, he is taking some stumbly steps.
And while it would also be generous to say he's talking, he is communicating: Sing the "Snuggle Puppy" song, and he'll crawl over to his bin of books, rifle through, and bring you "Snuggle Puppy;" give him a turkey and cheese sandwich and he'll whine until you produce the culinary gem that is PB&J, which will be greeted with a grin and an "MMMM!!;" ask him to point to the cat in a book, and he'll get it right every time save for that one page where he points to a dog, insulting Javier to no end.
It has been fun watching him "get it," and makes me feel like maybe just maybe some day he will get into college and move out of the house after all. Of course, at this rate he'll have to crawl across campus to get to class, but that's another story.

I hope your ailments weren't too serious. I take it not. But a nuisance I am sure. Anthony is doing very well in his "getting it". One day you'll just realize he has gotten it all, it will seem he has always done it. If he can just figure out that he can walk he'll be going full bore. Probably running soon after. Same with the talking. He'll do his practicing on the sly and next thing you know he will be talking a blue streak. And the next thing will be the question, "Why?". Or "What's that?". Continuously and then you'll wonder why you wanted him to talk so badly. LOL. He'll get there. Oh, yes. He really is getting to look more like a little boy rather than a baby or toddler. Funny how so little time shows so much change in maturity. You really can see it each week in the pictures. Oh, such a sweetheart. Love you all. Shirley
Cute, cute little boy and fun blog too. Sure hope you are all feeling better. Sorry everyone was "under the weather" when Grandma Dianne and Grandpa Harry were there.
Hugs to all three of you!
Love,
Grandma Char
I'm sure Anthony will be walking in no time! I was showing your blog to my friend Carin, and she said her twins didn't start walking until after 15 months either. And then she had to have a fence built around her yard to keep them running out into the street! ;-)
Love, Kerry
