What's so funny?

Random thoughts on the last few days as Kelly takes the week off from blogging.

Is my bath time comedy routine really THAT funny?

Angel Child?

Or Devil Child?
Grandpa Dave and Grandma Char hooked Anthony up with some cool Illinois State Redbirds gear for Christmas...

...and this cool Caterpillar dump truck
Meanwhile, the little guy made his first trip to South Beach (winter in Miami DOES have its privileges). As we left the beach, we were lucky enough to get advice from this fellow beach-goer who gave us a stern warning about not over-exposing our child to the sun.

Heeding the advice, we took some quick beach shots and returned to the safety of the covered stroller.

Even luckier -- when we reached the sidewalk, I proudly alerted everyone to the presence of this Euro-tourist behind Grandma Char. The back view is even sexier (but NSFW).

Anthony also spent some time behind bars...

...while Javier wished we would have kept him there longer, yet encouraged the little fella to keep playing with the ideal toy for a 7 month old--a plastic bag. Did I read something about that in one of the baby books Kelly told me to read?

We bought some new wheels for the little guy...

And Aunt Ellen, despite being 9-months-pregnant at the time and having a 2-and-a-half-year-old to look after, made Anthony this beautiful blanket for our belated Christmas celebration. It's been a funny couple of weeks.

Thanks, Brandon! You are pretty funny too! I think we would all like to see your facial expressions as you generated that laughter from Anthony! (But I guess he couldn't hold the camera, right?) Anyway, we enjoyed hearing from you. Great photos, especially the Angel Child one. And South Beach sure looked like fun...especially as we shivered here in the Midwest!

Love that video! Keep those up. He has quite the giggle. Makes me laugh too. Anthony takes such good pictures and each one tells its own story. You do a good job, Brandon. You and Kelly make a great team. And how is the temperature down there this week? I heard it was a wee bit chilly for you guys.We had it in the 40s today but in southern Iowa where there wasn't all the snow cover it was in the 50s and way south close to 60. Guess it was in Missouri. Nice. But we go back to the deep freeze starting tomorrow. And more snow predicted. Hope not too much as we finally are supposed to get to have our family Christmas on Sunday, weather permitting. You strung yours out too I see. Kind of gets necessary. Grandma Char and Grandpa Dave look really good too. Think the Florida weather agreed with them too. And of course it helps to have your wonderful family there to be with. Bet they had a good time. Give the little cutie an extra squeeze for me. Love you all. Shirley

Brandon, very creative,,,, in so many ways. But the pics of Anthony are very cute. Miss him very much. Wish we could have captured the "handful of salad" incident. Thanks for the fun time.

I guess we'll have to mark our strollers so we don't get them confused when you come visit! You even got the same color!

Cute pictures! My favorite is the last one, with the blanket. And the one with the swimsuit guy in the background is hilarious!

Love, Kerry

We had such a fun time spending time with Anthony last week.
Adorable pictures!!! He is so much fun! Can't wait to see him (and his parents) again in about 5 weeks!
Weather in Florida was wonderful! It was a little too cool in Ft. Myers!
