She's definitely picked up a few more rolls in the past few weeks!
Allison at three months:
Allison had her first day of "school" Monday; she seems to be adapting and has received many compliments for being "a good baby," which I take to mean "she doesn't scream her head off all day long and make us crazy."
Sadly, she also endured her first trip to the ER, for a fever. Infants under three months - yes, even if they're just days from the cutoff, like Ally was at the time - have to be seen by a doctor right away if they have a fever over 100.4 degrees. And, since as any parent knows, all fevers happen at 2 a.m., the ER was our only option. She's doing fine now, and I'm pretty sure a sick Ally is still calmer and happier than 95 percent of babies.
The other big changes are in Ally's activity level - she isn't a passive, still infant anymore. She constantly wants to move her arms and legs and is getting close to rolling over.
The bath is one of her favorite places to squirm around:
She LOVES to accessorize...or maybe I love to accessorize her...

...and to dress in holiday-appropriate clothes. Her Fourth of July gear:

Ally's first AND LAST nude YouTube video
She's also more and more social and smiley:
...though Ally also found she enjoys the new, more upright perspective of a Bumbo chair:
Apparently, seeing Allison in an upright position was a thrill for big brother, too: Grandma Char, who was watching them at the time, said as soon as Allison was seated in her chair, Anthony took a real interest in her, and started bringing her cars to "play" with. I guess seeing her look like more of a big kid got his hopes up...he has a little while to wait, but before we know it we'll be enjoying the sounds of the two of them entertaining one another.

We love seeing those happy little faces! (Yours too, Kelly!) Looks like everyone is doing just great, and Allison/Ally has weathered her first little illness. And Anthony is even sharing one of his beloved blankies with her! We love you!
How adorable! And she shouldn't have been jealous of Kate's 4th of July dress, because hers is very cute, too! And oh, the refereeing and bickering, the nails on the chalkboard of every parent. You'll always have a sympathetic ear up here.
I hope we get to see you guys soon; she is growing up too fast for my liking!
Hi Allison, can I just tell you that you look just as cute as your big brother in your video, and you look just like him!
Love,
Lyla
