We confirmed that the little guy does the things he's supposed to be doing...
Like sitting...
Pulling himself up (constantly, he is single-mindedly obsessed with this new skill, and is now starting to "cruise" just a little, which means hundreds of sticky little fingerprints on the glass top of the very non-babyproof coffee table)...
And feeding himself (but not nearly often enough for our liking)...
We also told the doc that Anthony seems to be ahead of the game in several areas...
He's already taking an active interest in planning his first globe-trotting trip with Aunt Kerry...
(Looks like he's eyeing China, Kerry, is that OK?)
And is learning the value of a dollar (my favorite part of this video is that he totally eschews the ones for the big bills. That's my boy!)
For his part, the doctor checked Anthony's measurements (19 pounds, 6 ounces and 29 inches "tall"), reiterated the heartwarming news that our little daycare dweller will get a cold every two or three weeks, and ordered up more finger foods for the little guy's palate (please, please let this mean an impending end to the puree-shoveling phase of parenthood).
But overall, he said we're doing a "good job" with the little guy, and that all seems normal.

Anthony is so cute! Good job on all his new skills!
These are very cute pictures! It looks like Anthony is feeling well and enjoying life between colds. I can see from his fingering the money that he wants to go garage sale-ing with Grandma! Sounds like a really good report for his check-up, and some new menu items ahead for him. It won't be long before he'll be begging to go to McDonalds for those fries!
I'm glad to see Anthony is already taking an interest in world travel! It kind of looks like he's eyeing Siberia... maybe he and I could go dog-sledding there together someday? Or visiting China is cool too - we could walk on the Great Wall together!
Love, Aunt Kerry
:-)
Adorable BLOG as usual, Kelly!
Pictures of our little guy are priceless!!! We are so grateful that he is healthy and is right on target developmentally .
Give Anthony a hug and kiss from us!
Grandma Char
I assume Brandon will soon be turning that hundred into a thousand at a nearby poker table?
Ohh, he kind of thinks he's a little smart there with that money in the video. Well, why not? He is going to have some pretty high expectations there. When Julie was little all money was "$40" and that is what everything cost. Don't know where that came from, but can't you just hear Anthony tell everybody he has a $100 or ask for $100 when he wants something. Well, the way prices go up, who knows. Maybe he will need that much. LOL. He is really getting to be a boy and not that tiny baby anymore. He is precious. Love watching the videos. Thanks for that and all the beautiful pictures. Got some really nice ones from Grandma Char the other day of Anthony and Bradley and Matthew. I love them so much. Quite a handsome little Josephsen troop there. So glad they finally got to get together. Love you all. Shirley
